Meet Brandon Young
A businessman, community leader, and relentless advocate for the families of District 19.

“Every person—no matter their background—deserves a fair shot at success.”
Born to Build.
Ready to Lead.
Brandon Young is a proud member of the Southfield community and a dedicated public servant who believes every family in District 19 deserves a champion in Lansing.
As the Founder and CEO of Safety Ops Specialists, Brandon built a security and public safety consulting firm from the ground up, creating jobs and helping organizations strengthen their safety infrastructure. He also leads Khal Horizons Consulting Group, providing healthcare and nonprofit consulting that bridges gaps in access and resources.
Beyond business, Brandon is deeply rooted in service. He serves on the boards of Neway Works and CCORE. As Co-Director of the Silent Cry nonprofit, he has been a tireless voice for vulnerable populations.
“When our seniors are secure, our families are stronger—and when our communities are stronger, Michigan is stronger.”
